At the tender age of 12, Becki began her meteoric rise to musical success when her school music head recognised her talent and entered her for performances at festivals in USA and the UK. Soon after she won the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Musician Competition and The National Festival of Music for Youth Competition Award. Since then she has collaborated with numerous producers giving her #1 US Smooth Jazz Chart success. Becki’s latest material, produced by Matt Butler (whose credits include Paul McCartney and Steve Harley), blends her influences (Carole King, Carly Simon, and Karen Carpenter) with honest tales of love, loss, and emotion. The result is timeless, lyrical songwriting that connects deeply with audiences and showcases her warmth, wit, and distinctive voice. Se’ll be presenting a show that combines some of her own lyrical compositions with Great American Songbook Jazz Classics. The band includes pianist Alex Steele, bassist Paul Jefferies and drummer Andy Tween.
